Preface Semiannually, we produce a catalog of Scientific, Technical, and Health Science titles to be published or distributed in North America. We provide new title information for 10,000 titles per year. As you can see from the accompanying list of publishers, our coverage is comprehensive. A profile is employed to assist the library in maintaining its focus, thereby receiving information only in the disciplines that are of interest to the collection. Format Printed Slips: Each entry includes a descriptive summary and titles are sorted in your choice of title, author/title, publisher/title, subject/author, or subject/title for easy distribution to various department heads, subject specialist, and librarians. We provide this catalog as a book selection and ordering tool for libraries not desiring an approval plan or for use as a checking mechanism against an approval plan. Internet Records: Midwest Library Service's web-based InterACQ site provides timely access to all titles in our Sci-Tech-Health Science Catalog. Each record includes a descriptive summary and titles can be searched according to LC subject classification, title, author, LCCN, ISBN, and series. InterACQ is available to department heads, subject specialists, librarians, etc. with access to the Internet. As with printed slips, we provide this resource as a book selection and ordering tool for libraries not desiring an approval plan. Ordering, Billing, & Returns Books announced in the Sci-Tech-Health Science Catalog are routinely available when published. Selections may be submitted on-line, on your order forms, or you may return the catalog slips to us as an order. Shipments are made promptly and accurately.
