In an effort to simplify the acquisitions process, Midwest Library Service offers an Out of Print Search Service. Through this service we endeavor to fill firm ordered titles placed with us as regular in-print orders but later declared out of print by the publisher. Our objective is to obtain the best acceptable copy at a reasonable price. It is our experience that out of print titles delivered through this service will reach library shelves more expeditiously than if the library pursues the usual out of print search procedure. We will adhere to your pricing instructions, and you will be contacted on any prices deemed by us to be excessive. OP searches will last up to ten weeks. If we are unable to locate a copy of the requested title, we will cancel and return the order to you.
